• Profile and group content: We may collect information and content you provide in connection with your use of the App, such as your display name, profile photo, group memberships, group names, group images, invitations, reminder settings, and other account or group-related content.
• Check-in and activity data: We collect information related to your use of Push Friends’ accountability features, such as your responses to check-in questions, including numeric values, durations, scale ratings, activity timestamps, participation history, streaks, consistency data, and related activity within your groups.
• Notification data: We may collect and store your device push-notification token and notification preferences in order to send reminders, alerts, and app-related notifications.
• Purchase and subscription information: If you purchase a subscription or other in-app feature, the transaction is processed by the relevant platform provider, such as Apple or Google. We do not receive your full payment card details, but we may receive information such as purchase status, subscription status, product identifier, country, and transaction-related metadata needed to provide paid features.
• Usage and diagnostics data: We may collect information about how you use the App, including feature usage, interaction events, app performance, device type, operating system, app version, and diagnostic or crash information. This helps us improve the App, fix bugs, and maintain reliability.
• Support communications: If you contact us, we may collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message or request.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• provide, operate, and maintain the App;
• authenticate your account and keep you signed in;
• create and manage groups, check-ins, reminders, profile photos, group images, and related features;
• display your activity, images, and responses to relevant members of your groups;

• improve the App, troubleshoot issues, and monitor performance;
• protect the security and integrity of the App and prevent abuse;

• With other users of the App: Because Push Friends is built around private groups, certain information you provide — such as your display name, profile photo, group participation, check-in responses (including numeric entries, success rates, streaks, and progress toward shared group goals), and group images — may be visible to members of the groups you join or create.
• With service providers: We may share information with trusted third-party providers that help us operate the App, such as authentication, hosting, analytics, notifications, crash reporting, image/file storage, and billing providers.
• For legal and safety reasons: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of the App.
• In a business transfer: If Push Friends is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

5. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services such as:

• Firebase / Google for authentication, cloud infrastructure, notifications, analytics, crash reporting, and related backend services;
• Google Play Billing and/or Apple App Store for subscription and purchase processing.

6. Notifications and Permissions

If you enable notifications, we may send reminders about check-ins, group activity, and other app-related events. You can usually control notifications through your device settings.

Certain features may require permission from your device or operating system, such as permission to display notifications or access photos/files for profile photos or group images. If you deny these permissions, some features may not function as intended.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

If you delete your account or request deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, unless we are required or permitted by law to retain certain information for legitimate purposes such as security, fraud prevention, financial recordkeeping, or legal compliance.

Push Friends is not intended for children under 13, or under the minimum age required in the relevant jurisdiction.
